From the Pinot Days website:
"Sunday's Grand Tasting will showcase over 75 phenomenal producers of pinot noir. Consumers will be able to sample up to 400 pinots from every important domestic pinot noir region, from the Russian River Valley to the Santa Lucia Highlands, Oregon to Carneros, the Anderson Valley to the Sonoma Coast to the Santa Rita Hills. Come to Barker Hangar to taste the highly acclaimed 2007 vintage, and talk with the gifted winemakers who created these beautiful wines. Local specialty food purveyors will serve delectables that pair well with pinot."
Food purveyors include Kerrygold cheese, Fishlips Sushi and Lourdes Gourmet. Personally, I am looking forward to the Oregonian pinots offered by Willamette Valley Vineyards, Domaine Serene, and Archery Summit. Oregon tends to produce some of my favorite pinot noirs.
Tickets $50. Purchase tickets here. Readers of this blog will receive a 10% discount on tickets. Please email me for the code.
